a book I’m involved in…

Posted on October 26th, 2012

A few months ago I was approached to be part of a book project – a collection of  60 essays on love, knowledge and freedom by web kids like Seth Godin, Danielle La Porte, Jonathan Fields and yours truly. All of the authors’ proceeds goes to the Not For Sale Campaign, an organisation fighting to abolish slavery.

Today is End Sex Trafficking day, and here’s the video clip for the book.
You can buy End Sex Trafficking here.

Thanks for the heads up on this. An issue close to my heart, and now blogged about. Again. The message is getting out there: Woman and Girls Are Not For Sale!

She’s saved 6000 precious little kids from sex trafficking in Cambodia and surrounds and rehabilitated and cared for them, doing a big fundraising tour to do bigger work. I reckon it’s going to be one inspiring morning. let me know if you go. would be nice to meet in person. You knew my hubby Ollie at NBI. I remember him saying ‘Sarah was telling me today she’s quit the mag and I asked her what she was going to do next and you said ‘no idea. something less pink.’ Loved it and have so been there…

I remember Ollie and I remember saying that! Say hello to him. Did he ever open the bar in Rose Bay?

no… sadly a couple of non-change-welcoming nannas spread a rumour that it was going to be a night club, and we got 70 objections. fun times… he’s at gruppo campari & says a big hello.

I’ve heard of this! I’m subscribed to Erin Giles’ email list – she’s the one who created End Sex Trafficking Day.

Looking forward to reading the book. Some big names there, Sarah. Congratulations on being a part of it!

That looks great. Such a huge and largely still unspoken global issue. Would love to hear more about the charities you are involved with.
