Check out the recipes that you guys helped me with!

It’s time to say thank you. My latest book, I Quit Sugar: Simplicious, was a mammoth project. When you create a book so big, you get folk to recipe test your creations along the way. I decided to invite the community to help me with this task and am very glad I did.

Foodies around the globe joined me on my mission, passionately testing and tasting. These people are strangers who chipped in and opined and guided me. I’m grateful to them all…

Miss Marzipan

Stockholm-based mum of two Marisa is a long-time supporter. She’s an ambassador for the I Quit Sugar 8-Week-Program and has been featured as a #followfriday. One of the recipes Marisa tested was the Pull-Apart Caterpillar Birthday Cake you see in I Quit Sugar: Simplicious. She did her antennae so much better than me!

Nicky Skinner

Pediatric nurse Nicky is one of the IQS team’s favourite Kiwis. I met her at our IQS roadshow in Auckland earlier this year. She helped me test some smoothies for Simplicious. Here’s a selection of her tests.

Lana Jankovic

Lana is a holistic nutritionist and wellness coach in Vancouver, Canada, and the team at IQS are mildly obsessed with her Instagram feed. Lana tested a batch of Gym Go-er Choc Spice Energy Bars. Sadly they didn’t make the list…but we’ll feature them on the blog soon.

Alexx Stuart

This Sydney chick is another long-time IQS supporter and a fellow low-tox advocate. Alexx helped me test some fermenting recipes. Her verdict on the fermented stalks recipe: This is a super good mix to add cultured foods to salads, blend in with a salsa for probiotic goodness, mix into a home made tartare sauce to serve with fish or mix into a veggie mash with spring onion for a twist on colcannon.

Charlotte Dupont

Charlotte is a food and lifestyle photographer from Portland, Oregon. She went sugar free to manage her thyroid disease. She also takes some ripper food pics, just check out her shot of the One-pan Moroccan Fish Pilaf she tested for Simplicious.
