  • I Quit Sugar: Healthy Breakfast Cookbook
In my travels, I think I'm asked at every turn, by journalists or at public talks I give, what I eat for breakfast. I think it stumps a great many people how you can eat breakfast without sugar. Which is fair enough. Of all the meals in the day, breakfast is the most laden with crappy white stuff: cheap carbs and sugar. So how do I eat a good breakfast? I switch to a savoury state of mind, I eat veggies, I #JERF, I eat leftovers and I eat for my gut.

  • I Quit Sugar: One-Pot Wonders
Pretty much all of my food philosophies, cooking practices and eating approaches come together in the notion of the one-pot meal. Quitting sugar means quitting processed food, which means eating REAL food, which means you have to cook. But cooking doesn't have to be complicated. It can be simple. And cheap. And it should be. This is where this book kicks in. All the recipes use the whole ingredient. A bunch of our basics use up any of the leftovers and the simplicity of creating dinner in just one step means we all cook more and get through the ingredients sitting at the back of the fridge.

  • I Quit Sugar: Healthy Family Meals Cookbook
Honestly, cooking shouldn't be fancy and expensive. It should have maximum flavour and flow... Mum didn't cook fancy nor expensive food. It was all about economy - of flavour, time and dollars. She'd use budget cuts of meat, make everything in the one big old cast-iron pot, bulk things out with starchy veggies and ensure we had three serves of greens with every meal. These principles, in many ways, guide this book.

I make my own with ease and tote them daily in old jars and reusable canisters.

  • I Quit Sugar: Slow Cooker Cookbook
I quit sugar... and fell in love with my slow cooker. Seriously, slow cooking is my answer to eating well. I'm all about dense nutrition. A slow-cooker extracts the best of my food without destroying the enzymes. It also extracts maximum flavour - particularly good when trying to convert friends or family to a more nutrient-dense way of eating.
